Physical Description:
Rambo is a heavily set canine. His skull is large, neck short, chest and shoulders wide set, hips slightly narrower, and his tail long. His legs are of average length and end in very large paws for his size. Rambo's muzzle and square and slightly short, his forehead is sheer and supports large, almond shaped eyes that are black in color. His ears sit high on his head and are cropped low to the skull due to fighting. His jaw is as muscular as his neck which is as thick as his shoulders are wide. All four legs are so muscular that they appear to be shorter than they truly are. His chest is wide and rippled with muscle, as his back which narrows only slightly as it reaches his hips. Rambo's tail is long and muscular at the base, but narrows to skin and bone at the tip, making it whip-like and not pleasant to get hit by. The skin that covers his muscular body is loose, but not overly wrinkly. It wrinkles mostly around the shoulders and face. His pelt is short and coarse haired until you get tot he tail where it lengthens just a little bit. The tan undercoat of Rambo's fur is covered with sparse black markings on his back and head, which can give him a menacing look when seen at certain angles.

Personality
In his younger years, Rambo was a typical puppy who very much enjoyed being social and playful. As he aged, however, his true personality came out. Rambo hates being around more than one or two dogs and will often snap if he feels crowded or walled in. This chow mix is a very dark male who often talks about the darkness of living and the idiocies of those who only want to see the good things. Females usually have no interest in him and the feeling is mutual. He feels no need to breed as he prefers his solitary life as a wanderer. Males old enough to fight almost always get on Rambo's bad side and he has had his fair share of battles due to his short temper. Young puppies of any gender, though, still manage to tug on a heart-string and he can't tell them no. He tries to keep his cool demeanor around pups, but can always be caught flashing a smirk or smile when they do something amusing. He may not play with them, but Rambo will lay down and let them play with him. He is always alert for danger, though, and will stand and fight any threat even if it is just to himself. His biggest pet peeve is prey-steeling. He has a bad habit of killing thieves who are old enough to hunt for themselves.

History
The first year of Rambo's life was a hard one. He was born to a stray mother who was picked up along with her litter for testing. The small litter of newborns was used right away for things like shampoo and shaving creams, the older they got the worse it became. Most of the pups died before their sixth month. Some of sickness, some due to neglect, some just starved themselves. It wasn't a pleasant time for Rambo and his siblings.
Rambo was six months old when he was put on a treadmill. It started with just walking until he refused to talk any more, and escalated until he was running for his life because if he stopped he would be choked by the leash. Needless to say, he got strong quickly and the enhancement drugs they used on him helped quite a bit, but darkened his personality. He became snappy and angry towards the humans and bit them at every chance he got. It didn't take long for the humans to learn that they had to sedate him before grabbing him. Then they wanted to see what would happen if he was on sedatives when he got those enhancing drugs.
By the time he was a year old, Rambo was extremely strong and angry enough to fight the humans. One day they forgot to feed him a sedative and when they pulled Rambo from his pen, he killed the human grabbing him and ran as quickly as he could toward light. He found his way tot he front of the building and smashed one of the windows as he careened into it. Dazed, and with his head bleeding, Rambo stumbled quickly out the window and to the safety of cover. It took a long time for the humans to stop looking for him and just assume he was dead.
Once he was free, Rambo wandered where ever the humans didn't. He went anywhere he could and enjoyed his freedom. That was... Until the sickness swept through the island. He is still weak from getting over his own bout of it. After three years of freedom, Rambo is very glad to know that there are no humans left in this town and that he is free to roam where ever he pleases.
