It was only memories of things that happened when she had no memory at all. Rapes, fights and general usage of her mind and body seemed to occur on these very lands almost on a daily basis not a year prior to this very date. So many faces of others who had betrayed her innocent trust flowed through her mind each passing day. They were more vivid when she visted her old home, however. Yet, she continued to come here despite the pain it caused her. She needed to remember the faces because in all honesty, they had made her the individual she was to this day. Kiyoko always imagined she would first thank them for their actions. Thank them before launching herself at them, a surprise attack from a canine they once knew yet had no idea who she really was anymore. She imagined fighting until the death, putting her whole heart into showing them what they did was sickening. And she would do just that if a meeting ever took place. The hatred for these creatures was so strong in her soul that she would never be able to contain it.
Something had changed within her first week at the Testing Facility. A surgery. A snap. And all the memories came flowing back. In one swarm of putridness, she felt every bite, every trickery, ever invasion of her most sacred privacy as if they were all happening in that very moment. Perhaps if they had come with ease, allowed her time to recuperate from one vision to the next - perhaps - she wouldn't have changed so drastically. That dream was not her fate in the end.
The thin, clumsy ball of fluff that had been in this place a year ago was now replaced with a fit and muscular fae. Bright eyes ready to take on the wonder of the world were now hard and cold yet still retained their luster. She was indeed a completely different dog. Her body moved with determination along the old farmlands, eyes dead set on the abandoned house which she had once called home in the distance. She, herself, never knew what would happen if she could force herself to go inside. Perhaps she would simply lay down and weep away all the fears and frustrations of her life or tear apart the whole place in a fit of uncontrolled rage. Alas, she could only bring herself to mere meters from the dilapidated home before turning to run the other direction, away from everything she remembered and back towards Vapaus lands.
The island was so desolate now that she had never once seen another canine on her ventures here and she didn't expect to run into one today. But fate is funny in the way it works, it will never give you what you expect.

Cerunnos
Cerunnos bounded happily over a small, rolling hill. In his jaws, a freshly caught, plump rabbit. He'd been hunting all day. The famine was proving something fierce. Slowing to a bouncy trot, the male casually cocked his head. Giving the landscape a quick glance, before stopping and lowering to a comfortable laying position. The lands were dead silent. The only sounds coming from sweet little song birds, and random waves of calming wind.
Everything had been calm lately. For him atleast. The gang hadn't been giving him jobs, and since the disappearance of the majority of annoyances, there weren't hardly any dogs round' to plunder. Things he certainly missed. Not to mention along with the annoyances went the girls as well. Something Daulton barely had in the first place. Sighing, Cerunnos finally took a gander at the prey lying between his paws. It didn't look as appetizing as it did a few seconds ago.
Gradually, he began plucking the downy fur from the body. Though he only got a few mouthfuls discarded before the thudding of something running broke the other-wise relaxing scene. Raising a brow, Cerunnos staggered to his paws. Obviously irritated. " Here we go.." [/color] He groaned in a low, gravely voice. With a quick sample of the air, Cerunnos gathered a few vital bits of information. It was a dog. Female. Just his luck. " Aye! Why such haste ah? "[/color] The brute barked, turning towards her direction. He figured he'd have a little fun, and eat later. If that made any tangible sense. So he awaited her reaction, curious as to what she'd be like. [/center][/blockquote] [/size]

[bg=666666][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,false][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=background,http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq227/Pideaux/RPG/Kiyoko/KIYOKOBG.jpg] All the musings in her head mixed with the 'knowledge' that she would not be disturbed or encounter another living creature worthy of her attention forced her eyes to see but not to really notice. If she had been paying any heed to her surroundings, she would have noticed that she was no longer alone on this long trek back towards what once was civilization.
This mistake could cost one their life in this time. How the virus was spread was still a big unknown on the island and a run in with an infected could mean death regardless of what transpired between you.
So when the words rang out and pierced her ears, her whole existence seemed to stop at that moment. Her heart fluttered, her stomach turned and every muscle in her body when rigid. She didn't hear the words, only that they were spoken. Light coloured eyes slowly moved themselves towards the voice, the vision of the dark beast unclear. A low warning rumbled around in her chest before she turned finally and was greeted by a seemingly untainted face.
Nothing was what it seemed anymore though.
"Stay back, you wretched beast. Have you been infected? ". Her tone was low, yet calm. A large white head was lowered slightly in a defensive posture, eyes peering up at the large male. She wasted no time getting right to the point. No time flirting around what every being wanted to know of everyone else. In matters of life or death, there was no room for time.
His face did not bring back any visions from her past. For that, she could not decide if she was thankful or agitated. Plague or not - If he had been a memory she would have thrown all caution to the wind. There was little sense in risking her life for someone undeserving of it now.
