 - The world was once peaceful, everyone lived together happily with pokemon and no one was ever afraid. Then one day, the sun was blocked by the moon and the world was confused. They were in complete and total darkness, and there was no light for eight minutes. A man saw how the moon took complete and total control over the sun and wanted to do the same; only by making those eight minutes of darkness become complete and total darkness. Forever.
- He began his mission, by robbing stores of precious items and people of their pokemon. At one point, a woman he was robbing showed him just how things were going to happen and he fell in love with her instantly. She was just like him and when she won at a pokemon battle against the two, she took his money and his most beloved pokemon. She was everything that he was and so, he asked her to join him in taking out the sun. She agreed and together, they created chaos throughout the whole region.
- They gathered more followers, giving people certain orders and jobs, and called themselves Team Kuro. They were slowly taking over the whole world, already taking over Kosho Palace once. But when they did, pokemon league champion, Gorou, led a rebellion against them and took back his palace. Gorou knew that Team Kuro would be back sooner or later, so he told one of his elite members to make sure that the villains never reach their goal. This was two years ago, and now the team has almost reached their goal.
- Who will help, who will stay behind. Who will choose the path between black and white and change the world from the destruction to come? For if Team Kuro is not defeated, the end of the world will be nearer than ever before. With a comet only a year away, Team Kuro is to use it to hit the moon, by redirecting its path with an unstoppable machine unlike ever before.
