General

• Play nice! No one likes to associate with rude people. If you have a problem, message one of the staff members so we can help you work it out.
  
  
• Be mature! There is too much work to be done around here for us to stop and deal with your whining! Keep it in the PMs and always, always PM a staff member, we might be able to help more than you think.
  
  
• DON'T STEAL ARTWORK AND CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN
  
  
• You must be 13+ years of age to be on any Proboards forum, so we will assume that you are in that age group.
  
  
• With that mild violence is allowed. Forced breeding is allowed so long as you have permission from the other party. Cursing is acceptable.. do it too much in the Chat Box, yer warned then gone. You know these things. You live with them on all the other boards! Avoid threads that discuss sexual things in detail, we can guess what happened when your characters romp into the woods together.
  
  
• Be Active! - A good site is an active site. And our staff will always be ready to RP with you and help you, even if no one else is!
  
  
• Activity Checks will be posted about once a month. Anyone who has posted in the Leaving? section will be exempt from this check. We will try everything we can to get in contact with you. If you don't reply to the activity check, you may receive a e-mail from us. We don't want to delete anyone that doesn't want to be deleted!
  
  
• Do not bring your in character problems out of character!
  

Signing Up

• We are a APM site (one account per member) to prevent confusion. Do not make additional accounts for additional characters.
  
  
• Activate your account! - We will do regular activity threads and checks. If your account is unactivated, you may be deleted.
  
  
• Do not role play your character until they have been accepted. Regardless of if you're a new member or returning member, do not role play until accepted
  
  
• You are welcome to post in the OOC and Guest Friendly forums until you're accepted
  
  
• Please try to post your character application within a week of registering.
  
  
• Do not post a WIP application as your first creation. If you are a regular member, incomplete biographies are acceptable for a short period of time.
  
  
• No Gary or Mary Sues. No one is perfect, and your character shouldn't be either. We want to bring out as much creativity in you as we can. Perfect characters require little to no work.
  
  
• We want you to be as descriptive as possible. We want to be able to see your characters in our minds perfectly. Unleash that creativity!
  
  
• This is a literate site. Please be sure to use correct grammar and spelling. No chat speak in character. Limit it on the C-Box!
  
  
• There is a 200WC MIN limit. If you cannot meet this requirement, please RP only in the beginners section.
  
  
• We appreciate a post order, but if someone isn't online for a few days and the plot is getting antsy, feel free to post ahead of them!
  
  
• GOD MODDING and POWER PLAYING is a big no no. Please be sure to ask the other character if you can lay a bite on them or leave it open for them to decide.
  
  
• Liquid time is allowed, just be sure to know what you're doing in each thread. Don't make it confusing.
  
  
• Keep images under 500px wide.
  
  
• Be sure to show your characters thoughts speech and actions.
  
  
• If you want a specific character to join your thread, mark it correctly. Example: Thread Name [Pideaux].
  
  

Characters

• Unusual colors - No
  Unusual markings - Yes! So long as they are naturally colored.
  
  
• Collars, jewelry, and some clothing is acceptable on dogs only
  
  
• You may have as many characters as you wish so long as you can role play them all.
  
  
• This is a canine role play. But some other species will be accepted when purchased from the market.
  
  
• NO Gary/Mary Sues!
  
  
• All breeds are accepted for the time being.
  
  
• If there is currently an Alpha of a pack, that Alpha will decide if you can be accepted for the other Alpha position or the beta positions.
  
  
• All members with Alphas of packs are required to log in and post at least once a week unless you have posted in the "Leaving?" section with a date of return. This rule will be strongly enforced because a site with inactive Alphas cannot carry forward easily. Once a week is up, there will be a thread within that particular pack posted for new Alpha auditions.
  
  
• Vapaus Pack is now open to all members without additional requirements.
  

Breeding

• Anyone can create hybrid puppies, but it will cost you!
  
  
• We need a thread! - Be sure to have a role play thread that at least leads to the 'act'. You do not need to role play the mating out, but if you wish to, be sure to post a warning in your thread name.
  
  
• Forced breeding is allowed as long as you have the other parties permission. Please try to do this through PMs, don't need to stink up the C-box.
  
  
• You may only breed your characters in spring and fall.
  
  
• Please give the staff at least a week to come up with the details of your litter.
  
  
• Just as with all other characters, a biography of each puppy must be posted in the Character Creation thread before they can be role played! Obviously, some aspects like history won't need to be as detailed.
  
  
• Please keep in mind that some of your puppies may not make it. And others may be unhealthy - Including claimed puppies.
  
  
• Staff will decide the number of puppies, color of puppies, short physical description of puppies, health of puppies, etc... this does not include your ONE custom puppy!
  

Fighting

• No one is perfect. And no one has a perfect fight, all parties must take hits and be wounded.
  
  
• No god modding or power playing.... you will automatically lose.
  
  
• These things shouldn't drag out over 3 pages of posts. Decide on how many hits should be given and received by each member at the start of the fight.
  
  
• Staff will decide the winner. This will be based on grammar, spelling, and the general feel of the post. If we can see your character really going at it in our heads more than the other, you have a good chance!
  
  
• A Rat Terrier isn't going to beat a Doberman on it's own through strength. That doesn't mean it isn't possible. If you have team mates or can use your size to your advantage by seriously injuring your foe in another manner, you could have a chance.
  
  

C-Box

• Do not bring your IC problems to the Cbox
  
• If you have a problem, use PMs - That's why they are there.
  
• Please have a sense of humour - We are not uptight people here and tend to let loose and have fun in our chat box. If you have a problem with this, don't talk in the cbox or don't join. :3
  
• We are an extremely welcoming and friendly group of people. So much that many of us speak off of the site as well. We expect you to be friendly as well. Rude behaviours will not be tolerated.
